When we don’t have the time to create a draft she will do research and make smart suggestions. This is such a huge timesaver for us. She is also very responsive when updates need to be made.

The internet is constantly changing and new ways of working keep emerging. Kathy helps us to determine which things are important for us to pursue. We recently wanted to improve our mobile experience and introduce an appointment request form. Kathy delivered both these custom upgrades on time and under budget.

Kathy Barnes at E. Crane Web Design Studio did an outstanding job creating the Conservation Lands website for the Hopkinton Conservation Commission and Open Space Committee. She listened carefully to our ideas, asked probing questions that helped clarify our goals, and designed an interactive site that far exceeded our expectations – all within a very tight deadline. The site is easy to navigate with descriptions and photographs of Hopkinton’s conservation lands, and links to trail maps that can easily be printed and taken into the field. The number of “hits” each month is proof that the website is successful.

Kathy Barnes is a wonderful designer. She has and great eye for color combinations and her layouts are clean; they achieve the balance of catching the eye but not distracting the reader. Kathy keeps the end-user in mind at all times. I also appreciate how helpful she is with making design decisions. Meetings with Kathy stay on track so that projects move forward rather than sideways! She offers wonderful customer support and site revisions are handled promptly.
